Our clients love working with us.
We kept hearing that we were easy, but we weren’t quite sure what that meant. So we listened. It turns out that the things we took for granted were making our clients pretty happy.
You might even say we're obsessive. We get caught up in our work—which is a good thing for you—because it means we never settle for “good enough.” It means that we're always looking for ways to innovate and learning new methods and technologies. It means that we each have a personal commitment to make every project one that we, and our clients, are really proud to share with the world.
Around here, a positive attitude goes a long way. We keep it upbeat and energetic because that’s how we prefer to work and we know you’d rather have another meeting to look forward to than dread. People who are nice are probably having fun at what they do too, and that goes a long way towards making the work more engaging.
We value open criticism, but it has to go both ways. Our clients are honest with us—when they don't like an idea, they feel comfortable speaking up. Likewise, we share our professional opinions. This type of environment speeds up lead time and generates better, innovative work.
How many times have you been in a meeting while everyone had their eyes down on their laptops or phones? Call us old-fashioned, but that’s not how we operate. We want to learn as much about you and your goals as possible so we listen. You know your business better than anyone so we make sure we hang on every word and then we start asking questions. You’ll probably be doing a lot of talking.
(So you don’t have to.) It's attention to the little details that take a project from “okay” to “amazing”. We cross the t’s and dot the i’s to make sure you’ll never have to pick up the slack. If we’re doing our job right, you’ll forget you ever had to worry about the little stuff in the first place.
We want you to succeed because if you’re not winning, then we’re not doing a very good job. We don’t design something just because it’ll look good in our portfolio, we make sure our solutions are helping you achieve your goals. And if we’re doing that, then we can probably establish a lasting relationship so you can keep winning.
We detail every part of a project so that you know exactly what it is you're paying for before any work ever starts—there are no hidden costs down the road. And for most projects, since everything is itemized, you're free to pick and choose options as you see fit to match your budget, timeline and goals.
Don't know what a bleed is? Not sure if you need an EPS or a JPEG? Don't really know why you need CSS to go with that HTML? Just ask. We won't roll our eyes or sigh. We don't expect anybody to know the boatloads of jargon and acronyms in our industry—it took us long enough to learn it ourselves.
We understand balance sheets, earnings statements, and the marketing mix. We get copyright and trademark issues. We know venture capitalists and angels. We understand that at the end of the day, there's a bottom line. We never lose sight of the goal, and our creative decisions are informed by in-depth understanding of your business.
We pride ourselves on being true hyphenates—experts at different skill sets. At the same time, we know we're not great at everything. To put it frankly, we don’t bullshit and we don’t over-promise.
If we can't do something, we can almost guarantee that there's somebody in our network who can do it exceptionally. We'd rather collaborate with them and make sure the work is the best it can be than do a half-assed job for you.
(And that about brings it full circle.)
